There are very few fans of MLS, other than Rapids apologists, who thought that Brian Mullan’s tackle on Zakuani was anything but thuggery of the highest order. Mullan’s post-game comments were so out of line with common sense that I found it hard to credit him as anything other than a jackass. When you’re slow and old, breaking legs with stupid tackles is not a good way to compensate.
So it’s good to see Zakuani’s recovery progressing nicely.
